ATCOR stands for ATmospheric CORrection and is an ERDAS IMAGINE software solution. ATCOR was originally developed at DLR, the German Aerospace Centre. GEOSYSTEMS GmbH, the German ERDAS distributor, integrated ATCOR into ERDAS IMAGINE.

ATCOR for IMAGINE consists of two options: ATCOR2 and ATCOR3. ATCOR2 is used for atmospheric correction in flat terrain (the "2" stands for "2 dimensions"). ATCOR3 is used for atmospheric correction in rugged terrain by integrating a DEM (the "3" stands for "3 dimensions").

ATCOR is an add-on module to ERDAS IMAGINE and requires IMAGINE Essentials® (for the 'Value Adding Products' option in ATCOR, IMAGINE Advantage® is needed). ATCOR is distributed worldwide by GEOSYSTEMS, Germany and by ERDAS distributors in their specific regions. In the United States of America ERDAS, Inc. is the only reseller for ATCOR.
