A new version of PhotoMesh software from Skyline Software Systems is now available.
PhotoMesh is used for photogrammetric processing of UAV data and for high-quality 3D modeling.
The update delivers major enhancements in 3D reconstruction quality, performance, automation, and overall workflow efficiency.
Highlights in PhotoMesh 8.1:
- Gaussian Splatting Reconstruction: Support for high fidelity, photorealistic 3D reconstruction using Gaussian Splatting, streamed via the new o3DML format.
- Quick Ortho Generation: Integrated support for the ultra fast orthophoto workflow, delivering upt to 15 x faster results for terrain based ortho production.
- Advanced Fuser Management: A redesigned Fuser Pool Manager and Smart Fuser Assignment for better scalability, hardware scheduling, and resource utilization.
- Multispectral Output: NDVI and GRVI generation for orthophotos.
Users of PhotoMesh 8.0 with valid maintenance can obtain the installation file for version 8.1 via the Skyline Support Portal.
