At the 14-Oct 2027, OHB, represented by its subsidiary GEOSYSTEMS, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Safran.AI and Octave.

The agreement establishes a strategic partnership for the development of AI-powered solutions for increased situational awareness.

In the defense and intelligence sector, the need for advanced analytical tools is growing steadily. It is becoming increasingly important to automatically process large volumes of heterogeneous sensor data and derive reliable situational awareness products from it - a capability that is indispensable in dynamic operational environments.

The signing of the MoU marked the first step toward the joint development and marketing of an integrated solution. This planned solution will combine the Octave AI framework platform for sensor data processing and analyzing, the AI-based detection and classification algorithms from Safran.AI, and OHB’s/GEOSYSTEMS’ expertise in data analytics and system integration.

The agreement now signed establishes a framework for further development of the technical, commercial, and contractual aspects of the partnership.
